Last week I shared information on "Simple Steps to Sort Your Stuff". When sorting you are actually completing half of the SPRING acronym that was included in an earlier post.

S-sort

I-identify locations for your sorted and pared down items

Once you are done with the sorting process, it is time to decide where you want to put the items. It may be a storage room, closet, sewing room, or garage. Look at the space from all angles to see where you may be able to store things. In a sewing room, for example, you may have space under a cutting table. In a garage, ceiling storage may be an option. You may want to call on a professional organizer to help you at this stage. Organizers excel in finding space for possessions.

Do not buy any storage containers yet. I will discuss that next week. Until then-
